Stuck at Home Spring Tables–Table 1

The weather has been rainy and cold here and with the pandemic, I am pretty much stuck in the house. As a cure for my malaise, I decided to start playing with table ideas for the spring.

The table runner is actually a antique cover that they used to put over pillows on a bed. It is a white seersucker material with a scalloped edge and embroidered with daisies and leaves. I love this runner. I added some small hen on nest covered dishes, yellow and green egg cups, some mums in some glass vases (I have loads of these little clear glass vases and they can transform a table with just a few flower stems), and a couple green hobnail glass votive candleholders.

This is set for a lunch buffet with chicken and rooster place mats.
