A Spring Wreath for the Porch

I took down the Christmas wreath and realized that the porch really needs a wreath on the hook by the front door. I had a spring wreath that I had made a couple years ago, but it was too small for its location.

So, I took this wreath apart and reused the small white flowers with the plastic greenery.

I started the wreath with a 24″ grapevine wreath form.

I gathered the rest of my materials (I had to buy the wreath form, and the silk peonies) and my tools. If you are going to work with silk flowers, you need a good side cutter.

One of my favorite tools–my side cutter

I added the silk peonies to the wreath first, and then I added the smaller flowers to fill in. I am planning to add a green and white bow as soon as I find the right ribbon.

Now we just need Spring to finally get here!
