Floral Arrangements from the Garden!

If you have been following this blog for a while, you know that I love flowers and gardening. And what I love even more is flowers FROM the garden. My dahlias started blooming in earnest just in time for the Memorial Day weekend and I made a couple of arrangements with them. The first one is for our guest bathroom and it is made up of only dahlias, and they are GORGEOUS.

I bought the tubers for these flowers from Home Depot last year. They produced flowers last year, but they are absolutely full of buds right now which is significantly earlier than last year.

I ventured a little further afield for the flowers for the dining table and added hosta leaves, astilbe, and oak leaf hydrangea flowers.

This is the start of our table. I will post those photos tomorrow.
