The Veggies are coming!

Our little garden behind the shed is growing like crazy!

The first stock tank with tomato plants is behind the other two and I don’t know why. They seem to be setting fruit okay, but there is a huge difference.

They were planted at the same time with the same kind of tomato plants–Roma. The only thing we can figure is that we used a bagged product in the tank with the smaller plants, and a bulk planting mix from our local supplier in the other.

All of the tomatoes are starting to set fruit….

I just opened our last jar of homemade dill pickles and homemade bread and butter pickles, so I was really excited to see how well our cucumber plants are growing–this is just TWO plants.

And all those blooms are not going to waste. Look what is hiding behind all the leaves.

I’m guessing that we will start picking cucumbers this weekend. I usually have to pick for several days in order to have enough to pickle.
