A tidy grill area

We have a gas grill and a big green egg that we store under the stairs from the deck. We were struggling with where to keep the ash removal tool and ash pan for the egg and the grill brush and the wood chips and charcoal for the egg. I also bought my husband a huge fire poker for our anniversary because he has never met a fire that he didn’t think needed to be bigger.

Here’s how I solved our issues:

I put up large hooks on the posts to hold the various items. (My husband hung the greasy grill grate on the hooks while we were cooking the Chicago style pizza which kept the greasy mess off of other surfaces.) Our hardwood charcoal is in the larger of the two galvanized cans and the wood chips and fire starters are in the other.

This was a tiny project that took almost no time to complete, but it has really made a difference.
