Easter Table Preparations–Alert

I am going to post some Easter tables in the days before the holiday. I am going to use real grass in cute containers. I am growing some for a really cute green planter and silver julep cups. I am also planting some for some little metal pails–I had to cut down some solo cups because decorative metal pails are not water tight.

Use a good quality potting soil and fill your container and pat it down. Sprinkle with either annual rye grass (very cost effective) or wheat grass (especially if you have cats). Water thoroughly and put in a sunny window, or outside if your weather is nice. You need to do it this weekend if you want to be sure to have grass on Easter.
