This tree is reindeer, sleds, and a colorful old fashioned beaded garland with a stick topper.

This tree is icicles and snow flakes with a snow flake topper and glistening leaf picks.

This is a Sugared Fruit tree with dark berry picks for a topper and magnolia leaves woven in.

I made this tree with black ornaments from some Christmas cards that I loved, but they were all black and difficult to use–which is probably why they were so deeply discounted. I cut the beautiful knot design out and used mod podge to apply them to black wooden disks that I had painted flat black. I sprayed them with finish to keep them from getting sticky and then drilled small holes in them to thread a gold thread to hang them. Then I used gold sharpie markers to make the edges gold. I found the gold pinecones and the beaded garland at the thrift store. I painted a wooden star gold for the topper. So a really budget friendly tree that doesn’t look it.

These are clever. I like the DelRobbia on the best. Love, Mom
