
This is a delicious and quick to whip up dessert, provided that your Cool Whip is thawed…
Ingredients:
2–8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
5 cups milk
3 small packages vanilla, cheesecake, or chocolate flavored instant pudding mix (My favorite is cheesecake flavor in this recipe.)
2–8 oz containers non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
20 oz oreos, crumbled
1/3 cup butter, melted
Combine the cream cheese and half the milk in a blender and blend until completely smooth, scraping down sides of the blender as necessary. Pour mixture into a large mixing bowl and add remaining milk, and whisk thoroughly. Add pudding mix while whisking until all is thoroughly combined. Fold in whipped topping and set aside.
Combine the oreos and butter and stir until thoroughly coated. Sprinkle about a cup over the bottom of a trifle dish. Pour 1 1/2 cups pudding mixture over the cookies. Add more crushed cookies, and then 2 cups of pudding mixture. Continue in this fashion ending with cookies on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight before serving.
