Beautiful arrangement in a thrifted bowl

I found a bowl that I really love while thrifting with a friend in ATL–great green color and size made in France for just over a dollar. I bought it because I loved it, but also thought it could work as a container for a flower arrangement.

I don’t have a lot blooming right now–pink astilbe, oak leaf hydrangea, dahlias, and I have a FEW lenten rose that still look okay. I started with the lenten rose:

This took about 15 minutes to do because I was working with such huge flowers.
