I finished all my little picnic blankets that I made out of the mens shirts that I got from the thrift store. I bought a new group of shirting fabrics from Mood Fabrics. They are really pretty. I have about 2/3 of the fabrics to the point of being strips of blocks.
And my mom and I got the first quilt top finished.
I’m making this batch bigger–about 60 x 60 inches. This one will have a chambray backing and dark navy binding. I should have it back by the middle of September.

It photographs well and highlights the green check fabric. when I thought that the darker would be.
