Fall Produce

Our gardens have been SO productive this year and fall has been no exception. I have picked probably 15 lbs. of romaine lettuce, 35 bok choi, and now some some players have entered into the competition.

Our broccoli has looked great all season, and it’s all now starting to set heads.

This is the biggest one.

This little guy decided that he’d had enough and started to go to seed.

I’ve had decent luck in the past with broccoli, but my big surprise this season is the carrots. I picked these yesterday because they were big enough. There are more, but they were still small, so I am going to leave them in the ground for a while longer.

I picked a BUNCH of kale for the Saag Paneer and then also for the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Power Bowls, but I could pick again today.

It’s been a fun year of gardening because everything has done so well. I’ve already ordered my seeds for next year from Johnny’s Selected Seeds.

Happy Gardening!
