During the pandemic, I did a series of tablescapes with stuff that I had on hand. Here are some of my favorites.
This is a studious table with a vase of antique rulers and scales standing in for a vase of flowers. I added vintage books, a brass candle holder, vintage box of pencil leads, small wooden box, a vintage globe, and a pair of glasses. The tablecloth is a king size light blue oxford cloth sheet that I made into a tablecloth–very collegiate.
I used white plates, flatware, monogrammed napkins in silverplate rings, water glasses, and pewter Jefferson cups.

I started this table with a gorgeous embroidered vintage linen cloth. I am not sure where I got this one, but it is in perfect condition. I topped it with a large silver footed bowl filled with blown glass ornaments, mercury glass candleholders and crystal serving items.
I used my Wedgwood Amherst dinner and salad plates, flatware, glassware, and hemstitched linen damask napkins.
So pretty and fresh!

This is a super fun game night table. I used a vintage spinner on the center of the table and then filled an earthenware and two cherry bowls with vintage scrabble and other game letters. I scattered some dice with letters on them around the center bowl and used oversized dice as “candle holders”.
I echoed the colors of the tiles and the spinner in the Fiesta ware place settings and napkins.
It would be cute to use the tiles to spell out names for place cards.

This is an all green theme perfect for Saint Patrick’s Day. I started with a green and white appliqued table runner, a green planter, and spring green lanterns.
For the place settings I used Fiesta ware in two shades of green, a white coffee mug with asparagus on it, and green and white napkins that echo the pattern of the table runner along with flatware and glassware.

This table incorporates all the Easter items that I have. Resin bunnies, a wooden bunny silhouette, egg cups of various types, a wooden Easter basket, a Paas tin, hens on nest, a papier mache bunny, a coir bunny holding a happy Easter banner, a tin chocolate box, a porcelain basket, framed Easter items, cardboard birdhouses, rooster trinket box, Snowbabies bunny and chick, and faux greenery. This table is for the main event Easter lunch or dinner.
I used a variety of pastel Fiesta ware plates for the table. This is so cute.

I don’t remember the one with the dice
