Spring Showers Table

It’s been really rainy here for the past several days, so I went thrifting, and found the CUTEST pair of green children’s rain boots, which inspired this table.

I started out to get little flowers to put in this bowl for a centerpiece.

And I found these little plants (which bloom for a long time) at Trader Joe’s.

I added a block of soaked oasis to keep everything evenly damp.

Then I added soaked coir and took the plants out of their decorative pots and placed them in the dish and filled in with the coir.

Here are the boots:

They’re so little, I had to use shot glasses to hold the water for the flowers.

I used Italian Countryside dinner plates by Mikasa and Pyrex Double Tough Green stripe Luncheon plates, green patterned napkins, flatware and glassware. I put some bunnies and a frog on the table with the flowers and boots. Here it is:
