I went to the thrift store and found this fantastic Pfaltzgraff Soup Tureen.

I thought I would be able to sell it on ebay and make a little money, but it’s incomplete, because it doesn’t have the ladle or the underplate…bummer. So, I am going to use the bottom a different way.

Looks like a great centerpiece to put flowers in to me.
And when I was at Home Depot, I found this cutie plant.

Initially, I thought I might be able to drop the pot and all into it, but no luck. However, the plant without the pot fits perfectly.

Here is a sneak peek of some components in an upcoming spring/Easter tablescape.

And if you were wondering what was going to happen to the lonely lid. I listed it on ebay for someone who broke theirs to buy.

More later….

I have a tureen that I often have on my kitchen table, and it has never once held soup! I have put amaryllis in it at Christmas and tulips at Valentine’s Day, and I am getting ready to put some hyacinth đĒģ bulbs inside. If you don’t sell yours on eBay, I think you will enjoy it. Great find!

Great idea to just rotate different flowers depending on what’s in season!
