Use What You Have Bouquet–A Riot of Color

We are celebrating Father’s Day with my father in law and I put together a super colorful arrangement with flowers that I had in my yard.

This is what I picked.

I started with the boxwood greenery that I cut from in front of the house.

Then I added some hosta flowers that just started blooming. (I love hosta flowers–and not very many people use them.)

Then I added cilantro (the herb) flowers and various colors of gladiolus. The cilantro flowers are so delicate and pretty.

Then I finished it with zinnias and a few dahlias. I grown Benary Giant zinnias, and the dahlias are some that I bought as tubers at Home Depot.

I picked some oregano too, but it wouldn’t fit, so I made another arrangement with that, and the leftover dahlias, zinnias, and hosta flowers.
