Thrift Haul

You may have guessed that I sell dishes and glassware on ebay from all the different items that I show in my tablescapes. So, I do spend quite a bit of time in thrift and consignment stores. People have asked me to do a thrift haul post so that they can see all the items that I find, and boy, do I have a good one for you. This is actually the combination of a local trip and a trip to Atlanta. My friend and I must have hit 15 to 20 stores in Atlanta over the course of 2 days. That was a LOT of shopping. (She sells clothes, purses, and shoes/boots and I sell dishware and decorative items, so we make a good combination.)

This is about half of what I found….
I had the plates, and found the bowls in Atlanta. Sets are easier to sell that just a couple items. This pattern is by Trisa.
These are Martha Stewart Everyday Pacific Wildflowers bowls–made in France. I found 5 of them.
Correlle English Breakfast Bread plates and 4 Mikasa Trellis dessert bowls. I bought the bowls to go with a set I found locally.
Crate and Barrell Marin Bowls–these are beautiful.
Martha Stewart Rim Soup/Pasta/Salad Bowls. There aren’t many of these on ebay, so I hope they sell fast. I found a set of 6.
Oneida Basketweave dinner plates, salad plate, and rim soup bowls. I really like this pattern.
Wedgwood Queensware Edme–I had 2 of the dinner plates, and found the rest in Atlanta.
This is a potpourri wire owl figure–he still has his tags. So cute.
I found this dice game (no instructions). It’s a bunch of words, and then some are prompts. I’m keeping this.
I found these cute blue, purple, and green double old fashioneds for cheap in Atlanta. I may keep them.
Darling Owl basket and Boggle game.
Found these fantastic linen napkins and some gorgeous Dansk serving pieces and a sweet vintage pie server. These are gifts.
Johnson Brothers Regency set–I had one salad plate and found the rest in Atlanta. This pattern sells really well.
This was a local find. A set of Vincent by Sakura. This is a really gorgeous pattern.
A Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage bowl in Yellow and a cute little blue pumpkin light.
Dinner Plate and Cup in Barrier Reef by Studio Nova–this is so fun.
Aruba cup, salad plate and bowl by Studio Nova.
Bella Ceramica Dinner Plates–I have a set of Pasta bowls in the same pattern.
Gibson Rainbow Stripe Dinner Plates. I had 4 and found 3 more as a set, but one was damaged.
2 Crete Dinner plates by Sakura
Neat tumblers by Pasabahce. I have a set of 8 juice glasses in this same pattern. I will keep looking to see if I can find more.
Lorena Garcia Ibiza Canape Plates–set of 10. Hard to find that many of the same pattern. 3 each of yellow, green and red, but only one blue.
Huge stack of “Harvest” dinner plates by John Taylor Pottery which became Louisville Pottery. These are old.
Really cool flatware holder. Looks to be hand made, but not signed….
A Gail PIttman Hollylujah teapot and four cups. Really great pattern.
This yellow and blue multi server has a deep dish, divided dish, shallow dish, lid, and metal stand. So versatile and what great colors!
Pottery Barn Ava Salad plates in blue. I have these listed, but I do really love them….
Marks and Spencer Giverny Salad Plates in green–set of 4. These are a beautiful color.
Fitz and Floyd Shore Lights Dinner Plates, Salad Plates, and Mugs. These look like they were only for display. A different lighthouse on each piece.
Pfaltzgraff Rio Salad Plates–really fantastic blue color. Great accent piece.
Mille Fiore Pitcher…I may keep this. So unique.
Two Mexican glass short tumblers–hand blown
Here’s the next table full…
I found some great books for gifts.
This guy is so perfect for Thanksgiving. I have him listed, but I may change my mind.
Williams Sonoma Antique White Oblong Serving Bowl….again, I am going to list it, but I really want to keep it.
My son’s girlfriend has admired a vase of mine and this one is similar, so this is a Christmas gift for her. Don’t tell her!
John Taylor Harvest Platter, a couple hanging globes, and a sweet little white porcelain tray.
John Taylor Serving Bowl and a large white serving bowl.
Churchill Herat Coupe Bowls–set of 4!
Noritake Sweet Swirl Iced Tea Glasses–I am keeping these. I’ve been looking at them on ebay… They don’t make these anymore, but they are some really sturdy glasses, so if you need sturdy glasses, look for them.
Southern Living Tango Water Glasses–there are 2 of each color, I’m just a bad photographer.
Anchor Hocking Wexford Flat Water Glasses
The glass haul right after being washed. I found some more Hazel Atlas Big Top Peanut Butter Sherbet Glasses, and some Colony Park Lane Sherbet Glasses to go with ones I already had.
Zig Zag Stem Martini Glasses
A ton of Margarita Glasses–Cactus by Libbey
Williams Sonoma Antique White Octagonal Serving Bowl
3 Johnson Brothers Regency oval platters–small, medium, and large–and a Gibson platter in a similar pattern.
HUGE stack of Correlle Frost White Salad plates from someone who needed to replace their rusty dishwasher racks, or dish drainer…so many rust stains.

This post doesn’t include the set of dishes I found for a friend’s daughter, or the set of dishes I found for my son, or the glassware I found for a friend…. It also doesn’t include a massive stack of other Correlle plates. The car was FULL to say the least.

It’s going to take me a WHILE to get all of this cleaned, photographed, and listed. My rule is that I can’t buy more until I have everything that I’ve already purchased listed.

What do you think? Would you like to see future thrift hauls?
