I started this table with a table runner with lots of browns, tans, etc. in it. I added the fish sculpture by Carolyn Kinder and then some natural items–some fungus, a bird’s nest in a copper compote, some driftwood, a box turtle shell, an elk’s antler, and a notebook.
The place settings are Dansk Flamestone Brown smooth dinner plates, Villeroy and Boch rim soup bowls and some orange-ish napkins that pull out one of the colors in the runner.

It would be easy to add more “found” items from outside–especially in the fall.
The Carolyn Kinder fish and dinner plates are listed on ebay.

Where did you get the fish?

I got it about 6 or 7 years ago from The Samaritan Center. I thought it was really neat.
