Latest Thrift Haul

I visited my friend in Atlanta and we hit so many thrift stores. Most of this is listed on ebay. I am going to do some tables with some of it while I have it.

I found a BUNCH of Anchor Hocking Wexford Water goblets at a couple of stores. This pattern sells really well.
Churchill Hotel Ware–really nice plain white porcelain dishes.
These Cabbage Ware plates are not Bordallo Pinheiro, but they are awfully cute, and still have their tags.
This is Umbrian Fruits by Dansk–a really cool pattern.
This is a darling apple shaped cookie jar by Anchor Hocking. So cute.
Mikasa Cheers Highball glasses. I’ve never seen these before. These needed a good wash in HOT soapy water.
A really cute Majolica pitcher. Definitely planning to do a table with this.
Martha Stewart Maple Leaf Salad plates–really neat pattern.
This one is for me. I bought it to put a plant in on my bedside table. The color is so perfect.
These etched coupe glasses are stunning. I need to look up the pattern name. Their condition is amazing.
Half of a huge set of Wedgwood Queensware Edme that I found.
Blue Dynasty Salad Plates–these will look great with some other stuff I bought.
These etched wine glasses are perfection!
Red Pyrex bowl–not in the best shape, but still a great accent for the kitchen.
Mikasa French Countryside Dinner Plates–these sold IMMEDIATELY. I didn’t even have them here 24 hours.
I love blue pitchers and this one was only $2!
I found these at TJ Maxx–Royal Stafford Sketchbook. This is such a pretty pattern.
Churchill Victorian Calico Blue–going to put these with the Blue Dynasty salad plates.
Ceramisia pasta bowls–these are really great bowls.
The other half of the Wedgwood Edme set.
I found these great Murano glass tumblers at TJ Maxx. I love them!
Dansk Berries Salad Plates–blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and peaches. Great pattern.
Villeroy and Boch Portobello Dinner Plates and saucers. I have this listed, but it’s going to be hard to let go of. Really pretty and the condition is unbelieveable.
Villeroy and Boch Portobello cups and sugar and creamer.
Mikasa Italian Countryside plates (one of my favorites) and the 9″ vegetable bowl for the Portobello set.
Gibson Regalia dinner plates. I’m not the biggest fan of Gibson, but this is a nice pattern.
Churchill Tonquin pasta bowls and you can see the Mikasa Cheers Balloon Wine glasses in the background.

So, over the past year, I’ve become a LOT more selective about what I buy to sell. Some things just aren’t worth fooling with. The things that I have found sell the best are: dinner plates in popular patterns by good makers; certain patterns of glassware–Wexford and Annapolis by Anchor Hocking and Cheers by Mikasa have been good ones for me; pasta bowls; white platters; old Pyrex–if you can get them at a good price.

I will definitely have some fun with these items while they’re here! Be on the lookout for tablescape posts!
