I found a set of 8 Villeroy and Boch Portobello dinner plates on my recent thrifting adventure in Atlanta–and I don’t think that they have ever been used. Absolutely gorgeous condition. Anyway, they were the jumping off point for this table.
I started with a red runner and lined up my white vases filled with flowers–the plates have branches and apple blossoms on them. The place settings are Dansk Flamestone Brown Smooth dinner plates under the Portobello plates. I used some pretty etched glassware and tan napkins.
I really love these plates. I’ll be sad to see them go.
