We had our oldest, his fiancee, and some of his teammates at our house for The Head of the Hooch last weekend. On Saturday, they expected to be late and some people thought they might be back earlier than others, so I planned to do chicken burrito bowls. I wanted to do a tablescape that would work with that them.
I started the theme on the counter with a crock of fall branches that I cut from the yard and paired that with a pottery bowl of fall fruits, and a leaf dish.

I started the tablescape with a rustic runner over the top of my unbleached linen cloth and added a blue pitcher with forsythia branches, a piece of driftwoods, a little wooden box, a little blue pitcher, and a large candle in a low metal rustic dish.
For the place settings, I used my Ballard for Southern Living service plates, a blue bandana as a napkin, Mikasa Italian Countryside rimmed soup bowl, green Noritake sweet swirl iced tea glasses and Lorena Garcia “Ibiza” bread plates.

I love that the branches really seem like flowers because they are so colorful. I love that.
So much of this table was thrifted. I really love how this came out.
