I found some Mikasa Accent “Tropicana” dinner plates and dessert bowls at the thrift store and just loved the pattern and I have 4 different tablecloths that have similar colors as this pattern and would go beautifully with them, so I got on ebay and etsy and found 6 chop plates to use as service plates. I spent much more on them than I typically spend, but I think that they were worth it.

I picked one of the tablecloths that work with these, and this one has fruits–including pomegranates on it. So I did a couple of low metal dishes full of apples, pears, and pomegranates in keeping with the them of the cloth. I added a Mason Cash covered casserole, and a couple of blue pitchers. You could use some sticks, or dried grasses/flowers in the pitchers.
For the place settings, I used my buffet plates, and some really cute sunflower bowls that I found at the thrift store for $1/each–Amazing! I also used a gold napkin, and Whitehall Cubes iced tea, and juice glasses.

I think this makes a nice table for Thanksgiving that is a little unexpected.
