When we have traveled, we have picked up Christmas ornaments, including some handblown ornaments. I also have found 2 really beautiful vases/bowls in my thrifting adventures, so I put together a table using these items.
I put the Vietri bowl and the handkerchief vase on the table and added faux greenery, the hand blown ornaments and a glass bead garland. The place settings are the service plates by Wedgwood, Johnson Brothers “Athena” dinner plates, and “Blue Dynasty” salad plates. I used the Hazel Atlas Big Top Peanut butter footed iced tea glasses and Whitehall juice glasses and a blue floral napkin from Williams Sonoma.
This tablescape isn’t as dramatic as some that I have done, but because it’s low, it make conversation easy. For dinner, I would add some tealights in silver julep cups.
