I found a gorgeous Pendleton wool blanket at the consignment store, so it had to come home with me. That blanket was the jumping off point for this table. I also have some plaid napkins that had similar colors in them. I stuck with neutral dishes–Wedgwood MaxaDura Service Plates, RAK buffet plates, and Martha Stewart for Macy’s rimmed soup bowls (one of my favorite things I’ve ever found at the thrift store.) I used the Whitehall iced tea glasses and Anchor Hocking Wexford goblets. The centerpiece is wooden bowls filled with antique wooden croquet balls, a spelter metal horse (that used to be the top of a clock), and a couple pewter porringers with candles. To me (who doesn’t know anything about polo) the balls look like they could be for polo which is why I paired it with the horse–polo and plaid. Anyway, I think it’s a good looking and homey kind of table.

I haven’t posted much since the end of 2025, but that’s because I have been busy on some projects and I will be posting about those soon.
