Exquisite Easter

I started this table with a cute bunny runner; Smith and Hawken bunnies; silverplate compotes with paper eggs; and a Southern Living metal container. The place settings are Wedgwood MaxaDura Service plates; Mikasa Spring Ivory (embossed like a hibiscus flower); Mikasa Italian Countryside rim soup bowls; Williams-Sonoma napkins; and etched glassware.

When Life Gives You Lemons

This is a fun table with yellow and green. You could use fresh lemons for the centerpiece. I used a Majolica daisy pitcher, narcissi in glass bottles, and Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage bowls. The place settings are my Wedgwood MaxaDura Service plates; Williams-Sonoma Lemon napkins; RAK buffet plates; Mikasa Lemons pasta bowls; Murano green glasses withContinue reading “When Life Gives You Lemons”

Bright Easter Table

I used a bunch of items together that I have been thinking about for a while now. This is a really fun and fresh tablescape for an Easter meal. The place settings are the Wedgwood MaxaDura service plates; lemon paper napkins; Villeroy and Boch Alea Caro Dinner plates; Villeroy and Boch Switch Summerhouse Arabesque; MexicanContinue reading “Bright Easter Table”

Pretty in Pinks and Reds

I found a set of 8 Villeroy and Boch Portobello dinner plates on my recent thrifting adventure in Atlanta–and I don’t think that they have ever been used. Absolutely gorgeous condition. Anyway, they were the jumping off point for this table. I started with a red runner and lined up my white vases filled withContinue reading “Pretty in Pinks and Reds”

Baby Shower for a Girl

Trying to put together a table with a lot of pink is pretty challenging for me because I am not a big fan of pink, but here we go. I reused the items from the Easter table, and added a bunny pitcher, some baby cups, pewter porringers, and some metal banks–a pig and an elephant.Continue reading “Baby Shower for a Girl”

Early Easter Table

I found some really pretty Royal Albert Everyday Friendship plates that were the jumping off point for this table. I started with a pretty vintage appliqued and embroidered runner and pull some Easter candies and some Martha Stewart bowl filler eggs into some apothecary jars. If I were doing this table for real, I wouldContinue reading “Early Easter Table”

Garden Party Table

I have some gorgeous Royal Stafford dinner plates–Sketchbook–right now until I sell them, and they were the jumping off point for this table. I started with a beautiful appliqued table runner in a great green color. I bought flowers at Trader Joe’s in the same colors as are on the plates and arranged them inContinue reading “Garden Party Table”

February Showers Bring Plenty of Flowers Part II

I had another idea for this table using some more items that I bought to sell. This time, the place settings take their nod from the napkin. I used Royal Stafford Victorian Calico Blue dinner plates and Blue Dynasty Salad plates. I like it. I love this centerpiece. And my husband, who normally doesn’t comment,Continue reading “February Showers Bring Plenty of Flowers Part II”
