Chris’s birthday–the table

Now that Chris is 23, I am going for a more adult look on the table. I started with a great printed green, blue, yellow, and white table cloth–my table is 42″ wide, so finding great tablecloths can be difficult.

Then I added some blue pitchers with all yellow flowers–mums, alstromeria, carnations, and one that is generally used as a filler that I don’t know the name of (all from Publix.) I don’t know why, but I have a thing for blue pitchers. Just about every pitcher I have is blue or has blue on it… I then added blue hand-blown glass balls from our travels and silverplate julep cups for the tealights.

The plates are Aynsley, but I don’t know the pattern name. They look like sand dollars. I used a white and spring green trellis print napkin.

I hung some navy and white Cream City ribbon that I curled slightly from the light fixture. If you have never used this ribbon, it really is the prettiest curling ribbon and they have loads of patterns and colors. https://creamcityribbon.com/ You can also buy customized ribbon from them for your organization, or for an event. I am a ribbon addict (I have a large drawer in the laundry room dedicated to ribbon), and this is one of my favorites.
