Christmas Decorations!

I typically decorate the house the weekend after Thanksgiving, and fortunately the boys were home, so they helped with boxes.

This is the door into the garage. I substituted mixed evergreens for the annuals that normally live in these baskets. I added some pinecones too.
The front door. I did the same mix of greenery on the railings and added bows and pinecones that match the wreath.
A nod to my VERY German heritage–a collection of nutcrackers in front of the family tree information.
This giraffe lives on this table all year, but he gets a festive hat (meant for a wine bottle) at the holidays.
A frosty collection of decorations–the bear is from our trip to Montreal and the snowman on the sled is my oldest decoration. I have had it since college.
A collection of sparkles–the glass balls live on the shelf year round, but I added the deer and trees for the holidays. The collection of white porcelain ones are from my SIL in Germany.
My collection of Santas and elves–some were gifts and I bought some. I love my Woof N Poof Santas with the crazy hair and beards.

I hope that your Christmas preparations are going well!
