I think that I have mentioned that I got a flower subscription for this whole year as a Christmas gift from my husband–a bouquet every week for the spring and summer and into early fall. My flower lady (sweetsouthflowers on IG) drops them off at a local smoothie place around lunchtime each Friday and I run out to get them.
This week I knew that I wanted to beef up the bouquet because it’s Mother’s Day and I finally have some stuff blooming in my own garden. Here’s what I picked from my own garden and bought at Trader Joe’s yesterday:

Here is my subscription bouquet that I am using as specimen flowers in the final bouquet.

It was a really pretty one this week with peony, snapdragon, poppy, yarrow, delphinium, larkspur, ranunculus and a few that I don’t recognize.
I started the big arrangement with lenten rose to provide structure:

Then I added the arugula flowers:

Then I added the astilbe:

Then I added the satinflowers:

Then I tucked all the pieces of my subscription bouquet throughout the arrangement and here it is:

I’m really happy with how it turned out. Such a sweet bunch of flowers.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Gorgeous!
