This year, we’re having another big crowd–13 for dinner–so we had to extend the table ALL the way, and add a couple 2′ x 4′ folding tables at the end to get everyone in. We topped the table with 2 white cotton hemstitched banquet cloths. On top of this, we put fabric, wicker, resin, metal, and glass pumpkins, and real squashes and gourds. Then we tucked in a couple resin turkeys, and some cute feathery and coir owls. We topped it all with eucalyptus. (I ordered it from Trader Joe’s and when I went to pick it up, it was the wrong kind. I managed to find several bunches of one that would work and then I got ABSOLUTELY drenched getting everything into the car. I would complain more except that we desperately need all the rain we can get.)
For the place settings, we used white Johnson brothers dinner plates, flatware, glassware, and sage colored napkins in wooden napkin rings.

I hope that your Thanksgiving preparations are going well and that you enjoy your time with friends and family!
By the way, it took this much eucalyptus to do this table.

Lovely as usual
