I decided to do a gallery wall above our bed because I had found some really great hand colored lithographs of some European cities (on EBTH.com) that had just the right colors in them, but they were WAY too small, so I got them some friends. I added a great oil painting of some cows from the 1920’s, some botanical illustrations of feverfew and meadow rue, and some illustrations of birds.

I think that it looks better with the cows than the platter. I’ll have to find another spot for the platter.
This wall color is funny–it really changes color a LOT depending on the light. It looks very brown here, but in other lights it’s blue green or olive.
