Gallery Wall

I decided to do a gallery wall above our bed because I had found some really great hand colored lithographs of some European cities (on EBTH.com) that had just the right colors in them, but they were WAY too small, so I got them some friends. I added a great oil painting of some cows from the 1920’s, some botanical illustrations of feverfew and meadow rue, and some illustrations of birds.

Here’s the before:

I loved the Wedgwood platter, but it was just too stark white.
With the botanical prints, and still with the platter.
I’m debating putting a short and wide something below the landscapes.

I think that it looks better with the cows than the platter. I’ll have to find another spot for the platter.

This wall color is funny–it really changes color a LOT depending on the light. It looks very brown here, but in other lights it’s blue green or olive.

What do you think?
