The other Christmas table that I did for the class was all the vintage toys, so I decided to keep this one pretty simple and classic, and definitely more grown up.
I started with a row of trees and black lanterns and then I added a beaded garland in red, green, and white and some ornaments that I made out of Christmas cards in black, gold, green, and red.
The place settings are Wedgwood MaxaDura service plates; Johnson Brothers Athena dinner plates (one of my very favorite patterns); Royal Suffolk accent salad plates; and black plaid napkins from Target that I bought at the consignment store. It’s a pretty tight color scheme/theme. Glasses are Hazel Atlas Big Top Peanut Butter Iced tea glasses and Park Lane Champagne glasses.

I love this table. So simple and elegant–even though most of it came from the thrift store.

I love this table. Simple elegance. The plates are the bomb
