We have never liked the materials that they previous owners chose for the bathrooms and the tub in the hall bathroom was cracking when we bought it. The floor tiles were also cracking because they weren’t installed correctly. Anyway, we found a contractor (recommended by a friend) who could get started on it. I started ordering materials as soon as we confirmed his availability and we finally had on the materials on hand last Thursday.

I can’t find any photos of what it looked like just before we started, but this is basically what we were working with. I changed the paint and shower curtain and had a rug on the floor.
This is where we left it at the end of last week:
The only thing that we’re reusing is the cabinet because it’s a good layout, so I will be sanding, priming, sanding, priming, sanding, and painting it. We have new (gorgeous) hardware for it, and we’re going to be putting a stone top on it and undermount sink.
Get ready for a MASSIVE transformation!
