I found the most gorgeous bunch of roses at Costco the last time I went–they were all sunset colors. When I got them home, I realized that they matched the pears I had ripening on the counter.
I started the table with an unbleached linen tablecloth; three white pitchers filled with the roses; faux eucalyptus and dusty miller and pears. For the place settings, I used my Wedgwood service plates, a dusky red napkin, buffet plates, Villeroy and Boch salad plates; Whitehall iced tea and juice glasses; and Oneida Sheraton flatware.
I think that it’s a pretty early fall/late summer table–still has some summer colors, but transitioning to fall.
