My family LOVES Shrimp and Grits. I love it because I can get it almost completely put together early in the day, or even the day before, and then at the last minute just heat the sauce and add the shrimp and voila–done! Storage Solution–for a couple of difficult to store items
We used to have 5 bikes, and they took up a huge amount of floor space. I found Steady Rack.Continue reading “Storage Solution–for a couple of difficult to store items”

Do watch for slugs–they will devastate your lettuce crop if they get a foothold. The Harvest: My husband wantsContinue reading “Salad Days”

The Shade Perennial Bed–Update
We had some extremely cold weather over the Easter weekend. Fortunately everything came through okay with only minor damage on a few plants. I hope that your spring gardening is going well.
The Perennial Bed–HOSTAS!
I love hostas. They come in such a fantastic variety of colors, textures, sizes and shapes. Some have an added bonus of having beautiful flowers that smell great too. Here are some of mine: If you haven’t tried hostas before, I hope you will give them a chance.
A Tidy Shed and Another Thing That Cleaning It Inspired
