Gluten Free Dessert–Oreo Surprise

Here’s another one that’s easy to make gluten free–simply by swapping out regular Oreos for gluten free ones.

Ingredients:

1 8 oz package cream cheese

1 small package cheesecake instant pudding

1 1/2 cups milk

1 8 oz container cool whip

12-12.5 oz package chocolate sandwich cookies

5 tablespoons melted butter

Whip the cream cheese until soft. Scrape down bowl and add pudding mix. Whip until smooth. Reduce speed and add milk slowly. Once it’s all combined, scrape down the bowl and whip another 30 seconds. Remove bowl from the mixer and fold in whipped topping. Set aside.

Crush cookies by placing them in a plastic zipper bag and rolling a rolling pin over them. Pour them into a bowl and add melted butter and stir well until thoroughly combined. Press half the crumbs in the bottom of an 8 x 8 pyrex dish and fold the rest into the pudding mixture and pour into dish and smooth the top. Or, you can fold all the cookies into the pudding mixture.

This is super yummy, and quick to put together as long as you have all the ingredients.
